Groups can have a maximum of six individuals. Children over the age of 12 can participate and are included in the group total. Children must be with an adult at all times.
Meals should serve approximately 25 individuals at Evelyn's House.
Your group gets to choose what you wish to bring. Depending on the meal, we always encourage family favorites and meals that will reheat well.
Not all families are here or available when meals are served, guest families also may not feel comfortable being in community spaces during high traffic times. They will enjoy the meal later when there are fewer individuals in the dining areas or once they have the time to eat.
The Evelyn's House Meal program is a full-service opportunity. Your group will witness the joy you bring from food prep to serving to cleanup and all the in-between. We recommended you arrive one hour prior to mealtime if planning to prepare and heat the food at the house or 30 minutes prior if the food is prepared and, simply, needs to be set out.
We appreciate your interest in providing a meal for our families and caregivers at Evelyn's House. If you wish to provide a meal but are unable to attend and serve, please contact Caitlyn Lee at [email protected] or 314-409-7489 to arrange.
